Hi, I’m Will

Above all, I am a husband, father, grandfather (I know, I don’t look old enough!) multiple business owner and fascinated member of the human race.

I am also a Master Practitioner in Neuro Linguistic Programming, professional coach, mentor and training consultant. 

I founded Working on Why directly because of my own profound experience of being coached.  It changed my life….and I can help you change yours too.

Let me share my story with you…………………

Like many of the people I work with today, there were quite a few areas of my life that just didn’t feel right. I seemed to have lost my balance and purpose, and I was stumbling through life without much focus or real satisfaction.  I was simply letting life happen to me.  Worst of all, I was struggling to recognise myself. Not the me that turned up for work, or played the role of Dad, husband, son, brother, friend…….But the real me!

I’d forgotten what it was like to BE ME!

When I first met my coach, I knew instinctively that she was in tune with me.  She got me, and she saw right through the shroud I had wrapped myself in, and she saw the real me.  I knew she would help me to see it too.

The process was incredible.  It was challenging at times, though always incredibly valuable and revealing.  Once or twice I even felt some resistance within me, but my coach guided me through the resistance and over the barriers I had been putting in my own way all my life.

Within no time at all, I had made MASSIVE changes in my life.  I decided to retrain in a new career, had taken up new hobbies, cut out toxic relationships, overcome two of my biggest fears (public speaking and spiders) and learned to love myself again.  The biggest change of all for me was that I had changed what I believed about myself.  I realised that it’s the one thing in life (really…the ONLY thing) that you have 100% control over……how you feel!

Now, I had taken full responsibility for my past, my present situation and the choices I would make to create my future.  I WAS FREE !!!
